Go behind the scenes of the games leading up to- and beyond- the Championship

About the Book

On April 1, 1985, in Lexington, Kentucky’s fabled Rupp Arena, Georgetown University, the defending national champions and prohibitive favorites took the court against Rollie Massimino’s Villanova Wildcats.

What happened that night has been called the greatest upset in the history of the NCAA  Basketball Tournament and, arguably, the greatest game ever played. When it was over John Thompson and his Hoyas stood stunned on the sidelines as Rollie and his Wildcats celebrated their improbable victory and fans around the nation let out a collective tension- relieving sigh.
